The Patrick Orton Live Your Dreams Scholarship is open to a graduating senior in Bonner County, Idaho. The scholarship is a one time $1000 award.
I’d also like to share our selection criteria because I think there are some things that can apply to many:
1) Discover your dream (not the same as a goal).
This provides direction in life and the motivation and passion to get through the hard times that weed out the people who don’t truly love it.
2) Take action.
Assume nothing will be given, everything earned. It is yours to win, seize the day!
3) Consistency over time.
Rome wasn’t built in a day. Be in it for the journey, learn to love the path, the marathon and lifelong mission. There is no end post. See less
